A Masters work

Axel helped with measuring on where the padding should go.

A good isolation tube material.

Small sign - great works!

Birger Granli has been working as a professional custom car builder in Gothenburg for decades and has
built project cars for magazines and much more. His speciality is high quality upholstery. He seems
to always have (too) much to do so I was very glad he could squeeze me in (begging, begging).
After all the work I have done on this roll bar I wanted to top it with a padding made by Birger.
I didn't want to go somewhere else.

Birger first uses some cheap plastics to figure out the forms and patterns. We'll hide that joint bolt.

We planned a great deal with sketches.

Then cut the pieces in the real material and needle it.

Juki - the Hot Rod of the sewing machines...

It's not real leather which is much too expensive. It's like the material in an Impala SS chair which
is of course is part real leather but mostly of a good fake.

We chose to set the cut and seam in a not so straight line in order to keep it hidden as it shows in the
car. Birger really has the knowledge and experience for works like this.

Velcro was the solution to wrap the ends over the joints.

Lasse "Navaho" Ström and Anne helped me with the ends so I could get that
American Indian touch. Leather strings, pearls and a feather.
